The Dutchy truck was in the fashion district, maybe they can park there somewhere.

Frying Dutchman just tweeted me. They are coming to 48th btwn Park and Lex tomorrow (Friday Jul 1). Figures. I'm taking the day off tomorrow and won't be there to try them. Hopefully someone can check them out and let me know how it is and convince them to come back to Midtown another day.

Was just there and picked up a Supreme with #12 Sauce!

They're pretty legit and the owners are super cool. They enticed my friends and I to some samples and I was sold (unsauced). Super crispy. Piping hot. I asked for a half and half but unfortunately they ran out of sweet potato fries. Kind of a deal breaker... :(
And then they tried to guilt trip me into buying the regular frites because I already took a sample hahahahaha.

So I've been really curious to try the new Frying Dutchmen truck (Belgian style fries and dipping sauces...yes please), but since their launch they are never up in Midtown. So I tweeted them asking why they don't come on up. After first responding that they do indeed come to Park and 26th on Tuesday's and my pointing out that isn't really midtown, they asked me what street they should come to and they "will try and make it happen". I plan to point them to this thread where anyone can opine in comments (unless I'm the only one that cares).
For what its worth I'd be happy if they hit anywhere from 50th - 55th between Lex and Madison.
Hopefully the new midtown truck crack down won't keep them away.
