I just saw the same commercial (are you watching the Mets game?). July 6-12, 6-10 am but "only sample size" dunno how big that is, ie, not sure how worth it is to go if it's out of your way.
(Who am I kidding... there's McDonald's everywhere.)

According to to this site:
http://www2.mcdonalds.com/mccafe/
it's every Monday through August 3rd. Just click on "Mocha Mondays". It says 8oz. Is that a lot?

i went today and tried to get it cuz i also saw teh commercial (45 and lex location)...she said no..so i ended up buying one so as to not look like a cheap skate... =(

Samwich..lol that's funny..i would have done the same probably thinking, shoot, I just spent a big portion of my lunch money on a liquid.

After seeing this I got one today at the Times Square location. They had a sign up in the window and it didn't seem to be for just Monday. The amount of coffee you get after the ice and the whip cream is pretty small.

I actually got a free sample in May on the way back from Book Expo America at the Javitz Center. They were handing out samples on the street--maybe somewhere on Broadway in the 30s? It wasn't 8 oz I don't think, but I got the effect. I second the "small amount of coffee" criticism, and the whipped cream was all for show. I wouldn't spend money on it....but I'm cheap when it comes to coffee. I have my cart guy for iced coffee--$2.25 for a large.

Haha, cheap for coffee = drinking the Flavia my company provides.
So I saw the commercial last night for Mondays from 7am - 7pm for the free sample of coffee... looked to be 8oz in the commercial, some guy singing about it in a jazz-club-like-setting, but I definitely also saw the other commercial about this week only from 6am-10am. Very odd.

Just saw a commercial for free McCafe from 6am to 10am, for a period of several days in July. However, I couldn't confirm this with a lazy Google search. Any midtown confirmation?
