I watched it and like it alright - but I didn't think she did that. It seemed like they didn't reveal it till after (isn't that the point of the blindfolds?).
I'm waiting for them to come to NYC to do a couple episodes - I also don't like that they do one food per show, they can totally squeeze in a couple of crosstown rivalries in the same city per episode.

she reveals it before the people say their vote, so one of the judges can change their mind before they vote to make sure they pick their place.

yea. i heard there were some shenanigans for the buffalo wing war too. these frikkin people don't have the balls to voice their own opinion. they just want to be popular.

They may do a NY steak, or burgers would work, but with the trend being food carts, they may do street food.

Has anyone watched? The premise is good, but my problem with it is that the host tells the judges which food came from which restaurant before the judges make their selection. The "fan" can then pick his own place every time. They shouldn't reveal whose is whose until after the votes are submitted.
