Street Meat for me is Michael's on Wall & Front.
Sorry I'm pretty useless for your questions though because I don't eat Chinese in FiDi (go to Chinatown, it's close, or they deliver), Indian I'm super picky though Baluchi's (American?) Masala is alright for what it is, I don't know any Thai places in the area, and I like Adrienne's for pizza, but they don't do by the slice.
-
pizza - adrienne's on Stone St
-
and is that chinese place still in WFC? it's kinda a nice spot, but it's pretty good & they deliver.
-
Yvo, what's the best chinatown delivery option? I'm usually getting take-out on foot, but not opposed to ordering.
Yeah, Adrienne's is good, but I'm looking for a slice. Pranzo isn't bad, but not great.

Cafe Sage has a pretty quick take-out service for Thai food. It's good if you're in a hurry, but the food is pretty poor quality.
-
I don't know, what do you want to eat? Chinese is so varied. Wah Mei Fast Food for pork chop over rice (or chicken over rice with pork sauce) is close to the train station, they deliver, not sure how much is the minimum.
Saigon Bakery delivers banh mi to FiDi with a $15 minimum but that's not Chinese food.
And I'll be really honest, I don't eat much Chinese food while at work but I am starting to figure out where delivers so I can get a fix at work. And a lot of the places are walkable or trainable within your lunch hour (judging by your list, you're pretty close to me).
-
what are the other go-to places for you guys in any category?
-
lol @ Chris - "tastes like shit, but really fast shit"
-
Oops, I read the title as "To Go" lunches. :X
I usually alternate between Water St Cafe (steam table/sandwich station/udon noodle station/Korean soup station), Adel's Halal and Financier if i'm working in FiDi
-
Burgers - Burger Shoppe for sliders, Burger Burger for larger more specialty/topping-geared burgers, and Ulysses for a beer with my burger (yes, at lunch). Ulysses also has nice pub-grub for a treat but it isn't cheap.
Hold on, I just emailed an entire list to someone last week who asked me...
-
It won't let me post the email
-
Too long? Can you post it in pieces?
-
Okay - I'm going to trim it down a bit - and remove mentions of stuff you already mentioned. A coworker asked for trucks/carts only basically so the list is truck/cart-centric.
Side note to Zach - sorry if it's too many links, feel free to edit them out!
