I still think sub-forums would be a good thing. Otherwise, this is just a 'forum' and not 'forums'. Or you should call it 'topics' since that's all you have in the single 'forum' :)

The link to the City 75 post on the map is broken.

@MPKalina - Fixed! Thanks...

Hi Zach, can we get the capability to edit our posts? If not, can someone delete my email address from the downtown street meat a palooza thread that I put there temporarity for Yvo? Thanks!

This is an odd one, came to the forums this morning and on the right hand side it showed a link to the new Downtown Lunch post, clicked on it, and 'not found', noticed your post saying it'd be up in a few minutes... and Mamacita's Happy Hour post is showing up "Stumble Drunk Through Times Square with Takeout Beet from Pronto Pizza" though when I click, it isn't found. Just FYI that your scheduled posts are showing up in those links on the right early... even though they're still invisible on the main site :)

@Yvo - That's a weird one... looking into it now. Thanks!

Map is busted on map page and also does not allow login/comment in ff3

@greenermjr Sorry you're having trouble! I emailed you the comment below, but maybe other people are having problems as well and will step forward, but here are some questions to hopefully figure out what's going on:
Just FYI: I tested the maps and login/commenting in FF3 on Windows and Mac and IE6/7 on Windows (I'm writing this comment in FF3...)
Re: the map:
When you visit the map in FF3 - do you get any error messages? Is it just FF3? Does the map just fail to load? Are you able to see regular old Google Maps, for example, here: http://maps.google.com ?
Can you see this map? http://midtownlunch.com/maptest.htmlRe: login/commenting:
You're able to log in and comment using another browser but not FF3? It's possibly a cookie problem: I'd recommend deleting all the Midtown Lunch cookies in Firefox (under preferences, privacy, show cookies) and try to log back in.Let me know if that fixes that problem!

with the growing number of forum topics and posts...i sometimes find it hard to rememeber where i commented or if anyone commented after me...if there any way to perhaps receive a notification (kind of like facebook) where it notifies you if someone comments on something after you? not in email form cuz that might be to spammy...im not sure how advanced something like that would be considering my knowledge to PCs is limited ot word and excel.

@Samwich: You've got a few options:
If you go to your profile page, you can see all of your recent forums topics and comments.
For forum topics, you can also set a topic as a "favorite" — those topics will then be listed on your Favorites page (there's a tab on your profile page for favorites).
You can also subscribe to the RSS feed for comments for all forum topics (if you happen to use RSS).

^^^^^^^^ Thanks!

Zach,
Though it's terribly appropriate given the actual landscape, it's time to change, "... THE FOOD WASTELAND OF MIDTOWN MANHATTAN" to ".... THE FOOD UTOPIA OF MIDTOWN MANHATTAN" from the site title.
You gotta' think of your future site visitors, especially the out-of-towners looking for a taste of what the locals eat.
Don't scare them away. Embrace their curiosity, and reap the rewards of future viewership.

Myles, Leo and Gerry Fitzgerald. They also shared a role in Baby Geniuses 2: Superbabies (which I've never seen.) but since then,
they haven't done any acting that I know of. They're great hockey players, though. I think they're about 17 years old now, but I
could be wrong.
