there's a lot of open seating areas if you walk south on 6th ave. Tons of folks sit on the stoop in front of the McGraw Hill bldg or the News Corp bldg at 48th & 6th to eat lunch.
-
or even in front of alliance capital building on 55th
-
PS- the 52nd & 6th cart has NO lines.
-
52nd & 6th is owned by the same guy? i already know to look for the yellow bags :-P
-
Yep, same owner as the *real* halal cart.

Much better than waiting on line for sure so just go to ex-Shendy's. Or don't go and keep it no line for the rest of us. Haha.
And there are public atriums around. One on 52nd and between 5th & Mad I believe.

I actually tried ex-shendy's last week, and IMO, was not as good. it could be a result of less turnover, because people still dont know its the same as the famous guys.
anyway, theres an open/public space, if you walk west from the cart about half a block, you can enter from 53rd, btw 6th and 7th. its just before the Icon parking garage. tables, benches for your taking (if not taken by me of course...haha)

There's a little park with a waterfall on 53rd between 5th and Madison. Tucked away, very quiet (except for the waterfall of course).

Me and a friend of mine want to try out the famous halal guy's food but we don't really know the area so either i can go and scout a place around there or i can ask you guys
