Went to my go-to taco truck yesterday and saw that they now had tamales for $3. It's a a buck more than what I'm used to paying for taco truck tamales, but I was willing to give it a try.
They had pork and chicken and I ordered the pork. It was OK....a bit dry but the meat was well seasoned and the red chili sauce gave it a nice kick.
I'll try the chicken next time. Maybe it will be better.
