Wow, s-e-a-l, props for going there so early on a Monday morning.
-
@sir: I lol at you.
-
that girl is gonna be sore the next day.
-
@kcijones001: That's why we need another option.
Us guys could walk it in 10 minutes but you know girl are going to be in heels. -
Girl should know to wear comfortable shoes in NYC...But, i do reccomend Artisinal - Not far from ESB; but not in the direction of times square.
-
Artisanal is an excellent date spot. Not sure about for 4-6 people (I can't tell if mrkeeboard is just using poor English or...?) - for 4, it's fine, but for 3 guys and 3 girls, it might be a little less intimate...?
-
I suggest grabbing a cab to get the hell out of the area. this also takes care of the issue of the "girl in heels".
However, if you want something Heartland Brewery-esque, how about Stout?

or tir na nog right by penn...

@Yvo: After looking on their website at the small tables, I am thinking that you are right. Appears to only seat four from what I saw.
Do they would allow two tables (or more) together to make room for others?

We were thinking of the restaurant on the lower level of the Empire State Building but what else you think is great for a 3 guys and their date.
