Oh yeah. The DR supermarket in Chelsea. Have not been yet. I had a feeling they're trying to jump-in against Whole Foods and Trader Joe's. ;P
-
they totally are. Last time i went to TJ's (last week) the line was the most rediculous i have ever seen it...there was also a wait to actually get into the store. I hate that shit.
-
Yea, when did TJ become a nightclub? I saw that too this Monday night after Motorino - the sick line to get inside the store. INSANE!! How busy can they be that you can't even get in?
-
I think people thing they are saving $ at that place, when they really aren't. I do, however, go there for fruit leather...Not because of $, but because i cant find bags of it anywhere else....I usually stick to the wine shop (which i understand being a little more crowded, but it never is) for three buck chuck, pass right by TJ's by, hit vanessa's for a a frozen 30 then end my night with an artichoke slice..that's my routine!
-
kc--just a heads-up (I finally have to say this): there is no "e" in "ridiculous"!
BTW, I'm still hoping for the rumored new TJs on 6th at 21st, in the old B&N space.

REdiculous.

Reee-DONK-ulous!
-
Goeng to replace all "i's" weth "e"
-
Yo the back o'yo head is reh-dic-o-luss...
TJ's is cheaper for some things. Milk, eggs, I find to be the cheapest at TJ's over anywhere even in Queens. Some other things too... or stuff I can't get elsewhere... oh their nuts are crazy cheap too. Almond milk. Mmm.
Of course, now that I'm a Queens girl full time and have a car, I go to the one in Forest Hills. I probably should have done that today...
-
a small bottle of olive oil at my grocery store is 12 bucks...that retarded
-
12 for a small? Boo. No more EVOO for kc.
I like the TJ snacks. One of the admins in my office loves it to death and only has buys TJ cookies, chips, etc.
-
i swear, it's insane. I just saw a bottle of gold bond lotion there for 17.99
TJ's does have good cookies....the ginger snaps are yummy -
TJs has these mango cream bars that are ridiculous... and the apple crunchie balls are kinda good... what else do I buy there...
