I would, but I have one of those jobs where I have to bring it back and eat at my desk. The horror.

yeah, ditto, and worse yet, i'm in the isolated wasteland known as the wfc. i'll keep my eyes peeled in case i can un-tether myself when you do convene.

I tried, months ago... seems the people downtown are much less willing to leave their jobs at reasonable hours than the midtown people :P

Downtown lunch happy hour (or lunch) sounds great. We'd just have to start at 7 to give people enough time to work too much. I'm next door to Bon Chon which, bizarrely, has a happy hour early and karaoke late.
But if there is a proper lunch outing, I could steal away for a proper lunch 'break' some days.
