Downtown Lunch: First Hiyashi Chuka sighting of the Summer!

Nikoniko (80 Wall St., 212.232.0152, nikonikony.com, seamlessweb.com) has Hiyashi Chuka today. Delivered to my office was a generous bowl of cold noodles, topped with seaweed, tomatoes, fake crab, bean sprouts, ham and egg (I requested tofu be substituted for the ham and egg). Accompanied by a small container of tamari and costing $7.95, I found this to be both a refreshing and filling lunch on a hot, humid day.
