No, apparently the cops chased them out. Real bummer. I want Taim here.

They come by Madison Park once or twice a week. I finally tried their falafal sandwich after despising their falafal platter b/c some of the other items on the plate (the cous cous made me yack). I was very impressed with the sandwich. I would not go back for a platter though.

Wow, I've never had the platter. I'm surprised to hear the couscous was that bad. The sandwich rocks my world like a hurricane. A real one.
Sadly, 25th & 5th is too far south for me for lunch.

I liked their couscous the two times I had a platter.

their couscous is amazing. the people who hate it just must hate couscous.

If you like the taste of rye and poop, then yes, their cous cous is delicious. put it this way, I found it so foul that when I tried to shove it down faster, just to get it down, i literally vomitted on my floor! Maybe it was rotten...
-
Yeah, but you vomit at the drop of a hat.

I've been better damnit!

From their menu, it doesn't look like they serve cous cous. There's a quinoa salad on the platter. Am I missing something?

Maybe it was a special? Honestly, this was quite a while back. It may have been 2 winters ago. I actually had Taim today--the sandwich of course. Very good falafal with hummus and israeli salad, as usual.

For the record, I spoke to these guys at Union Square on Friday, and they said they are planning to come back to Midtown sometime this fall. Just thought I'd pass the news along.

I haven't seen them in Midtown and I don't see midtown locations in a quick browse of their Twitter feed.
