Bosses are seemingly gone....everywhere. There are 5 people in my office...no bosses...Hence my 3 hr. gaming lunch. With some diners drives ins and drives on demand watching....

nice, i guess the heat has kept people at the beach. hope they come back for thursday night.

It sure feels like it, this morning I walked into Starbucks and there was no line! I said to the guy "Slow morning?" and he said yea for some reason there wasn't too much business this morning. This was just around 9 am... creepy.

Humidity and heat means get away from any computers and glue yourself to the AC?
Man, it's freezing at work and then it was scorching outside. No win-win.

guys. other parts of the country are moving to the 4 day work week as well. some states are trying to push for 10-hour work days and 3 day weekends to sort of boost morale.
i was "rewarded" with 2 fridays off this month and my coworkers and I rotate to provide coverage. Eerily, I have a feeling it has something to do with whether or not a department will be able to sustain itself at half-staff. Because if it can then they would just give one half the boot and keep the more productive one.
Thankfully mine can't
