If you standardize the potato size, I'd be a bit happier cuz two potatoes can mean anything in terms of how much potato you're getting... unless you meant 2 cups of potatoes which makes more sense.
It sounds alright except I don't know anyone who eats potatoes that much anymore... maybe I know the wrong people.Extra cheese is another 50c btw

well a pound of food in total. i suppose 80% of that weight would go to the taters. i wonder how heavy potatoes are.... maybe it should be 2 lbs of food per order. lol

Would work better with the illegal variety...

So, let's start a business together. Here's an idea I thought of way before IHOP's loaded country hash. We open a Hash House and serve just one item all day long: hash. Same fried, cubed potatoes with different mix-ins like homemade corned beef, roast beef, pastrami, breakfast sausage, fried chicken, italian meats, vietnamese cold cuts, fried calamari, whatever you want. 2 potatoes worth of stuff per order, 1/2 cup of mix-ins, a 1/4 cup of sauce on the side. 1 pound of food for $6. Mean service time of 1.5 minutes from order to checkout. How can this be possible? Perfect logistical communication between FOH and BOH. There, I've given you a basic framework for a successful business. All you need to figure out is the marketing and do some number crunching re: operational constraints and you're set to go.
Any takers? or is this a stupid idea?
