Create & Go

Anyone try Create & Go on 55th between Park and Lex? It's either relatively new or I never noticed it before. Can't decide if its just another generic deli or whether it professes to be something more. Seem similar to Toasties, but on a much smaller scale.

Tried a sandwich from there today after noticing it while on my way elsewhere. It was pretty good and looking at the other stuff being made while I waited it all seemed of good quality.

Anyone else try this place?

  1. I enjoyed the sandwich I had (chicken cutlet)but the place seemed like a fairly generic deli to me. People at my office like it bc its close and has an unlimited topping salad bar.

  2. It's in the old location of Lite Bites. It might even be the same owners. They've streamlined their menu a bit and do fewer things -- but done better. I've only tried their gazpacho, but it was quite good and spicy.

The physical space is a great improvement as well.

  3. They ruined the place. The ready to go sandwiches were better then these pricey fancey named ones. They had nice simple stuff and went overboard. Cant the food like you used to. Place seems quieter then used to be all the time. Too bad Lite Bites left. I used to love the old stuff.
