Second on Mangia. Good food, very professional service.

Would indian be too far off the mark for a company lunch? if not, I think that Minar is pretty good

amish market does good work

Well, Minar was shot down as "too ethnic", by someone who's never here for lunch. Funny thing is most of us mortals would have really liked it. I'll try with Mangia next week, being generic and safe and all.
Thanks for the suggestions!

Is Chinese too ethnic as well? We catered from John's Shanghai once, and they did a great job. It was also relatively inexpensive (we got trays) for the amount of food we received.

I made up the "too ethnic", management just said no :)
Chinese would be too ethnic as well. I suggested Szechuan Gourmet some time ago and it was promptly ignored.

We're trying come up with some options for our company lunch, other than generic delis like Guy & Gallard or the monstrosity called Blockheads. We have tried CerTe and they were different and good. We are looking for other places that have good food, deliver in Midtown and have an online menu. We usually order individual items and sometimes catering.
Thanks for the suggestions!
