H mart of course.
-
H Mart is right in the middle of the block of 32nd Street on the north side. Beware they don't like white people, but still take our money.
-
Steve, that's probably because most white people are not there to buy things.
-
HMart = han ah reum?
-
@dealno - that's right. Han ah reum started taking over suburbs of America with their new name, H-Mart.
-
@mkim- then what do the white people go there for if not to buy things?
-
Steve, i don't know, you tell me.
-
HM is between 5th and 6th?
-
it's between broadway and 5th, i believe. In the karaoke strip/heart of ktown
ok i just checked the map and it's pretty much the same as between 5th and 6th since broadway cuts across 6th ave.
-
Thx dean. B'Way/5th narrows it down (not much, I guess, as B'Way is close to 6th there), although I surmise it's hard to miss it anyway!

stevenp- it has a big blue facade with a small automatic door. doesn't really look like a market from the outside.

Yup, if you're looking for yuja (yuzu in Japanese) tea, Hmart definitely has it.

Does anyone know where I can score a jar of citron tea, preferably around Flatiron or K-Town? I'm pretty sure they'll have it in a good Korean market, but I'm not sure where those would be. Thx!
