Isn't chop suey a common dish served at any american-chinese style places? Hit up a regular take-out place nearby. Avoid the authentic chinese places. Haha.

People in NYC eat chop suey? I grew up (in NYC) thinking chop suey was an urban legend. I don't think I saw it on a menu until I went upstate for college.

MLK Blvd in St Louis had a Chop Suey restaurant on every block. This has nothing to do with Midtown, but that is the only time in my life that I have ever seen anyone eating chop suey. Are you thinking about the old Chow Chow Cup Trucks?

Is there anyplace to get chop suey these days? Either on the street or a take-out place around midtown or Murray Hill?
