Taim Mobile parks near you every week, so you are very lucky that the best falafel in Manhattan is nearby. Additionally, Ba'al Cafe is near you and serves very solid middle eastern sandwiches.

Update to my own question -- I tried an old school vendor today with great success. Located on Hudson St (west side of the st) near King St. He is a single operator with a small cart that offers just the basics. My falafel sandwich was generously stuffed, including with great fresh tomatoes (not the usual tasteless variety from carts). Also, he has pickles, which I love to add to a falafel sandwich. Highly recommend -- $4 for the sandwich.

Hi everyone, I'm new to the hood -- working on Hudson St., just north of Canal. I am looking for some cheap cheap eats. In particular, anyone have any falafel vendor recs? Thanks!
