Cheap chinese food around Lex & 50s

If you head down to 45th, there are a couple of places a few doors east of Lex. I think they've been reviewed here. (Hop Won and another place.) They are pretty decent, high-volume places.

I used to live in Midtown East and always meant to try Gordon Chen's on 53 btw 2nd and 3rd based on the reviews on menupages. For delivery, Asian Dragon on 59th and 2nd (not sure) is good and cheap.

Hey hey... Lex & 50's are my old stomping grounds.
Walk a couple blocks east to 49th and 2nd Second Ave. to "MEE" Chinese restaurant. EVERYTHING on the menu is good.
MEE is part of a chain of restaurants in NYC I believe, but this particular location has killer spare ribs and the best pork fried rice I have ever had in Manhattan. (and Flushing)
The service has Hong Kong/Taipei attitude, (eat your food, pay your bill and get the hell out) but the flavors are genuine old world cuisine.

Does anyone know of any cheap chinese food places around the 50's and Lex area? The only place I knew of was where Apna Taj is now. Thanks!
