Carts: Weekend VERSUS Weekdays

Apikoros18

So--- This is my Pregunta: Are the same carts in the same places on weekends as they are during the week? I would guess no, as the crowds must be thinner without us white collar wage slaves and their 34 minute allowed break but then again....

The reason I ask is sometimes I will hit as midtown location on a weekend that I can't while working, and think.... Hmmmm.. Would they be here????

Cart-by-cart basis. The ones near the tourist attractions, like Radio City and Times Square, are likelier to remain in place on the weekends, while the ones that are clearly serving workers mostly take the weekend off.

I'm pretty sure Biryani Cart is out 7 days a week, and I think the cart on the SE corner of 53rd & 6th is as well. And last month Kwik Meal said they were going to be out 24/7

but i'm not sure if they have stuck with it.

    Anybody know?

biryani cart was def there this past weekend, kwik meal was there about 2 weeks ago, i believe, but haven't been back on a weekend since.

  4. Biryani and Kwik Meal both appear to me (work in the building between, live a block away) to be out 24/7 now. Midnight fish special is pretty great.

I'm pretty sure the daytime Halal Guys cart on SE Corner 53rd St. and 6th is there. I've bought their plate on Saturday afternoons. lol.

  6. Does anyone know if the Trini Paki truck is open on the weekends? Thanks!
