Yeah, but that place did a killer business every day. Kinda like Food World on46th but bigger and better. Every single area was packed every day from noon to 1:30(hey closed at 2): the salad, the hot & cold bar (better than the typical), the udon bar, the mongolian bbq, and the deli area--sandwiches and a few hot dishes. The registers were always busy. Sad to see them go.

no wonder i walked around there twice in two weeks and simply could not find it except for one large glassed store front that is undergoing renovations, which made me wonder if it closed down for a while already, which puzzled me since clearly people on this site raved about it. i did find not too far away, a place called 'bistro' that when you walk in, the salad counter is on the left. i think it was 7.99? it was unlimited toppings too. but i looked at the prefilled salad bowls stacked and there weren't much greens in there. this is what i hate about salad places, there's so little greens for the price.

I went to a place yesterday (19?) on 46th right by Sukhadia's - they have a 1 meat, 6 topping salad for 5.99 + tax (for the small, $1 more for the large) - I didn't get a meat, got cheese instead, and they gave me 9 toppings (don't know if that was because of no meat). It was enormous, and stuffed, they could barely close it - it must have weighed over 2 pounds.

abc--where was that place? And was it really unlimited, i.e., multiple meats and cheeses? If so, fewer greens is better because the bowl winds up being stuffed anyway. I don't want to waste precious bowl volume on cheap green leafy stuff!

you get 1 main ingredient, 2 "items", and then as many toppings as you like... all for $6.
additional savings: their website is still calculating tax at 8 3/8%.
