Its a nifty place. I couldn't convince them to change it to 50% off instead of buy one get one free, because I didn't want to buy and drink two of them. So I did not try it.

The bubble tea gods have smiled on this part of town. There's also Midori just a couple blocks up. Both places are solid. And there's another shop over on 3rd that I haven't tried. I can't imagine that they will all survive. Can't we get some bubble tea action over on the west side, or are we only allowed to have Thai restaurants?

CoCo (near Menchanko on 45th b/n 3rd and Lex) is having a buy 1 get 1 free promotion on their Bubble Tea - Milk Tea w Tapioca(regular flavor only). It's their grand opening. I think the promotion may last for the week, not sure when it ends.
Tried it on Monday and went back on Tuesday w a coworker. It's pretty good! The tea flavor was definitely there, and the black tapioca was nice and chewy. Would go back again to try their other drinks. Prices are decent. This is the closest place from my office for decent bubble tea!
There's also another drink that has the buy 1 get 1 free promotion, something latte, but have not tried that.
It's a small place, just a counter. They should put 1 or 2 small tables and a few chairs in there.
