Walgreen's makes a mean sandwich and you can dine alfresco right outside.
-
Mos def, not messy. Might want to try to go middle of the road too, so nothing too 'cultural'....might just have to go to HB Burger or something.
Yeah yeah, I know, but I'm conservative.
-
@Steve: As much as alfresco dining with gray and yellow snow sounds fun, I don't think so.

Taking the boss to Katsu-Hama for biz lunch next week.

Of course, why would I suggest anywhere else :)
Ipanema
13 W.46th StAs for why it would be a good place for a business lunch:
- Value. All the entrees are $20 or less. Their steak (bife portugesa) is $19.95 (you aren't getting luger's or ben bensons, but they prepare it perfectly). Without alcohol, you can get out of there spending about $25pp, and typically when I have dinners gatherings there, we spend about $40pp for appetizers, drinks and entrees.
- Quality. I've been going over 12 years now, and the food has been consistent. In fact, it's identical to the first times I've eaten there (they have the same chef for like 30 years). I've noticed exactly 3 changes to the food in the entire time (the bread basket changed from rolls to a cut up loaf, the salad before the entree is no more, and they switched the olive garnishes).
- Decor. It was renovated in '05 (giving me a near panic when I thought it was closed down...), and it's held up pretty well since then.As a matter of fact, I'll be there tomorrow with some business friends :)
p.s. if anyone calls this a "shill", I will buy the oxford dictionary, hollow it out, put a bomb in it, and mail it to you. Or better yet, I'll just glue all the pages together so that it just opens up to the page with the definition.
p.p.s if you like indian food, I also dig Spice Fusion on 8th and 48th. The lunch buffet is a great value as well, and it's not watered down like some other indian buffets.

I should really try that place, Ipanema...if the food isn't good, i am going to put the bill under Adam Prato and leave.
-
Adam you're such a shill... <3
-
I think we should have the next ML Dinner event (similar to the Jjajangmyeon event) at Ipanema to put Adam to the test. Who's in?

Where's a good place to have a business lunch? It's about my future with the company so I don't want to milk them for every nickel and dime.
Oh and I'm right in Times Sq.
Thanks!
