it's been around for a pretty long time (mid 2009?). not an alternative to korea palace. korea palace is definitely better food. i've only had it once, but i pretty much decided after my first bite that it wasn't worth it with korea palace so close.

  2. the lack of korean food... or good korean food in midtown (without paying $15 for a damn kimchi jjigae) is really really annoying...

The food is ok, but it's way overpriced (though so is k palace). I don't see this place staying in business for more than a few more months.

  5. I would love a boonshik place around the neighborhood (midtown east preferably)...
how do you explain boonshik in English....

I miss the okinawan Suibi that it replaced...bitter melon, tofu, eggs, + spam ftw.

spam makes so many things so much better. yumm.

  12. i know some ppl that can just pop open the can and dig a spoon into the spam (w/o cooking it)... i love spam.. but i can't do that... spam as soju anju ftw..

spam musubi. spam kimbap. spam in kimchi fried rice. spam in kimchi jjigae. grilled spam on the side of rice with some kimchi and seaweed. *drrrrrrrroooooooooooooool*
