I got Bon Chon and to my surprise, I got an extra order of potstickers! I went during an off-peak hour, but the staffs were very friendly. My mom enjoyed the chicken, but when got cold, the skin kind of just peeled off. But still good.

free food is the best food.

Esp egg salad or tuna salad sammies left out for most of the afternoon? Delicious!
And we've always been treated well at Bon Chon on John St.

KyoChon was extremely not crispy.
I haven't tried BonChon yet but there's one near me which, due to the need to compare against KyoChon, has been bumped higher priority in my lunching list.

@MJP- Bon Chon is super crispy and stay that way for a long time

I think it should be said that each location is independently owned/operated (for both, I believe). I hear such terrible things about KyoChon in Manhattan, but KyoChon in Bayside (on Springfield) is REALLY good. Just thought that should be made clear... lest anyone avoid the KyoChon in Bayside (or the other locations in Queens, which I haven't tried) because of all the bad things said about the one in Manhattan.

i must agree with the rest, bon chon > kyochon. Yvo- i've been to the flushing (northern blvd) Kyochon, and i wasn't thrilled with it.

I'm coming out of the woodwork just for this. Bon Chon all the way.
Plus, the Financial District one takes Restaurant.com gift certificates. Life is so good...

Yes, Kyochon is less crispy, but I almost found BonChon to be too crispy.

I was in the area and was indecisive which storefront to patronize. Which would you recommend for a first time Korean chicken wing customer? Thanks.
