At the very least a Kati Roll.
-
Not the Biryani?
-
@ExVi- that would be like going to Dunkin and get a donut. amateur move all the way.
-
Well that's why I'm asking, I don't want to make the amateur mistake. So which Kati roll(s)? Is there anything else?
-
They just added on a combo special, which features their greatest hits - a kati roll, chicken biryani and a samosa. Looks like it would be best option for someone who's never had the cart before :)

Chris wins. But any kati roll, extra spicy, is always a fine first choice.
-
Chris- I did see that post. Maybe I'll give that a shot if it's still available when I take my lunch today.
Thanks for all the input.

The combo special is definitely a great first meal there. For the kati rolls, the standard chicken or lamb are my favorites. The Chennai (sweet chili chicken) is also awesome and worth a try - perfect combo of sweet and spicy. You get two kati rolls with an order so definitely mix it up!
-
Yes, combo special for the win. In terms of kati rolls the Spicy Buradi is my favorite. Even if you can't get the combo special, I've never had trouble ordering just one roll (instead of a full order with 2). Let us know what you think!

Anyone ever order 3 kati rolls? How much?
-
Huck, they're 3 apiece.
-
After all of that I ended up going to my standby in Comme Ci. I saw the groupon and couldn't pass up a great lunch for $3. That on top of the fact that they are probably going to have to move from the Tues/Thurs/Fri location on 38th St. Fortunately I talked to Samir and he was saying they are going to try to talk to some of the surrounding businesses and if that doesn't work he is probably going to try 36th St.
-
Oh, that's a bummer, Samir's truck has become my favorite spot to go in the last month or so......

I know there a bunch of notes about this already but I've never been to Biryani cart and I wanted to get some input on what everyone thinks I should get for my first visit. What is their best offering?
