Philipino Independence Day celebration last Sunday at Madison Square Park was an utter disappointment. Lousy food, tiny portions for the prices charged - might have been better in the past, but I will never go again .. at least those left unsatisfied and hungry like me could walk over to the Shake Shack.

Get those independence day parades out of Madison Square Park! There is one virtually every weekend, and my dog nearly gets trampled, trying to get to dog park!

With the Big Apple BBQ coming up, this is on my mind. I haven't been to many of the ones I need to try but here's my ranking of the ones I know. What does your ranking look like?
1. Big Apple BBQ
2. West Indian Day Parade
3. 9th Avenue Festival
Feel free to list more than 3, I just haven't been to too many. I still need to go to the Puerto Rican Day Parade, the Philipino Festival, and many others.
