Banh Mi-- and my SHAME

nicky's is also my favorite for grilled pork banh mi.
i recently found out a coworker friend of mine's brother in law owns banh mi so 1. that is going to be my next banh mi adventure.
i'd also like to throw out hanco's in carroll gardens as a must try banh mi for brooklyn. i'd give their sandwhiches a 8.5 out of 10 rating.

I recently discovered Num Pang and have been going through their menu one sandwich at a time once a week.
Their 5 spice pork belly was good, but the ginger bbq brisket special was even better. The hoisin veal meatballs was also a very tasty sandwich.
For fish, the peppercorn catfish was good, but the grilled mackerel with leeks and basil infused olive oil was my favorite sandwich so far.
Next week, it's the lemongrass chicken liver pate. I'm sure it beats my grandma's chopped liver.
IMHO, the specials were better than the regular menu, but i haven't had anything but really tasty food there. -
For you Banh Mi lovers in Midtown. Besides Boi To Go, there is another place that sells delicious Banh Mi sandwiches. Hing Won, Chinese Noodle Shop located 48 West 48th Street (Between 5th and 6th Ave) sells those yummy sandwiches starting at $6.00 each. My favorite is the Banh Mi Vit Quay-Roasted Duck one.
Hing Won also has a great selection of Chinatown-style dishes that's hard to find in midtown.

I was reading Yvo's Banh Mi Cart review on Feisty Foodie... Man, that looks good. No, I have NEVER had one. (There is my SHAME!!!) I work on 57th and 3rd--- Any suggestions on where I can get one of thos bad boys?!?
