Bann Next Door (8th ave & 50th st) is a pretty good option.

I'm surprised this place closed. I live right down the street and when I pass by it's usually doing solid business. Recently they were filming some sort of TV show there.

Could be some weird stuff with the lease. Or maybe they are re-opening somewhere better. Either way, I'd expect them to leave a note on the door or something.

This place was awesome - went there today and it was completely empty and the sign was gone... so much for that frequent customer card I had!
Where else should I go in Midtown West?
This place was one of a kind.
