Anyone else like the taco truck on 19th and 6th?

It's called El Carrito Rojo and they serve everything from tacos to tamales. They have some other mexican specials but I don't remember their names.

I usually go for their lengua (tongue) tacos and pork tamales. At $2 a pop, it's a great deal. Here are some pics of of of my lunch yesterday:

I got the chicken tacos once and they were super mediocre and were topped with some sort of guacamole-inspired green sauce that I really wasn't into.

That said, they were definitely edible, and the guys definitely did not skimp on the meat. they were big tacos. and only $2 each! (I know I should've picked something more exciting than chicken; I don't know what came over me. I never order chicken tacos.)

I got pork tacos from here before, they were 90% fat. Glad you got something nice though!

that truck rocked, I found it by accident trying to get to the Apple store.

Enjoyed the chicken, pork and lengua tacos.

Stay away from the oreja tacos, chewy, rubberband-like and flavor-less. I wish they had deep fried them rather just try to cook them on the grill.
