do we know where brotha went?
-
Bro Montana
-
Nope never heard back from him after I went to lunch. I am sure he would have texted last night if he got anything good. I will try and find out this morning...
-
They let him go at 9 pm....so he had to run to catch his train. Never got to eat dinner. I'm glad I'm not a CPA....

public accounting is the devil!

id rather eat pizzacone.
-
I've still yet to try pizzacone. Everytime I pass by, I just can't get myself to go in. The more i think about it, the more my wallet closes. It is just such a kitshe ripoff....and the reviews have not been good.

agreed and there is NO WAY that place will be there much longer. what would make them think in a city filled with amazing pizza, that a place like that would work. Take it to Jersey.

I think I rather wait on the ridiculously long lines at KyoChon than to pay up for a puny cone. Pizzacone should start running a BOGO deal if they don't want KyoChon to snatch up ALL the business in that vicinity. ;P

Kyochon is another place I will probably avoid for a very long time---if only b/c I imagine the lines will be sick, and by the time the food gets to me, I will be super pissed off. I have little patience, especially when it comes to fried chicken, which I masterfully (even if I set the apartment on fire) make on my own.

Do you have an apartment frier or do you use a cast iron skillet?
-
Both--I have a real deep fryer, and a cast iron.
-
You, sir, live my dream.

They are cheap (but occasionally necessary) pieces of kitchen equipment. I collect "toys," most of which I never even use (deli slicer, indoor smoker, indoor grill, ice cream maker etc.)...

My brother is in town, and is begging for a special reccomendation for lunch. I'm not meeting up with him or anything, and he's done the street carts in that general area. Anything really fattening or gross to suggest? He likes to think of himself as a chef and eater---so there is nothing off limits...
