Are you shitting me, I just went yesterday and bought them for $6/lb... these bastards. I may have to get lobsters again.
-
Nope....not shitting you at all.

I'm totes convincing BF to go.
Goats, wouldn't paying ANYTHING for the ride to go up there defeat the point of cheap lobsters? You should ZipCar a, um, car, hit up Woodbury while you're up there - maybe buy the lady something pretty to make up for the howling in MSP - and then leave early to hit Stew's (they close early), to make an awesome meal for you and your ladyfriend. Yeah?

shoot, i paid $4.99 for a pound last week but it was tastier than the one i had in Maine for $45. i guess these are a few good things about recession.

I can't zipcar until October, which will be my 3 yr. anniversary of having a NY license (otherwise I have to jump through a lot of hoops). Renting a car regular isn't worth it. Getting my brother to pick me up and drop me off---VERY worth it, IF I can convince him.

Buy him a surf & turf dinner and call it even ;)
Sorry, I misunderstood that initial post as you 'begging' a MLer for a ride, will pay whatever is necessary, haha
-
i actually was--kind of! I would take a ride from the devil for 3.99 lobsters...and cheapass king crab!
-
$4.99 at Shoprite again this week.
-
Thank you Mkim1206! I think I may have to go to Hoboken tonight!

fresh direct is running a 7.99 per lb. lobster deal as well. I was going to go to hoboken, but then figured with path fair, coupled with the fact i'd have live lobsters to rush home (meaning i couldn't hit up my old watering holes) it's not worth going to hobooken lol. it might save me 5 bucks, but it's a trek to the shop rite there from the path....
-
Fairway market has them for $4.99 too...at least the one in NJ.
-
Please get some corn nuggets while you're at Stew's.
