ok, i just thought i'd throw it out there. it's pretty much on spec. was hoping someone else might have previous experience. i guess i was taken in by the oblique comparison to sassicaia.
@kc: where do you get your 40's? and what are they?

by (popular?) demand, moving this to another thread. saw this and thought $85 for a case of tuscan sangiovese + a tasting might be worth a flyer: http://www.giltcity.com/newyork/pasanella. does anyone have interest? i really don't know anything about the vintage or shop, and i haven't ordered yet.
