Walk up Fifth to Woorijip on 32nd. Or try the new Kyochon on Fifth.
-
Um, Shake Shack on 23rd & Madison.
-
PIZZACONE!

Steve is being sarcastic....unless you want to write a review, I'd say stay away.
-
damn, cheese, someone on here has to try the pizzacone.

Walk to K-town on 32nd or to curry hill (and baoguette land) on Lex

I've had the pizzacones. It's not the worst lunch I've ever had, but I went in with very low expectations. I don't think I'll be going back though. Once was definitely enough!
To the original poster though...definitely go to 32nd st...K-Town is one of the best benefits of working in that area!

id walk to defonte's for a sandwich (or have it delvered)...worth it.

That's right around the corner from me! Hit up the truck on madison between 27th and 28th! Chicken on a hero with hot/white! $4!

For awesome sub mashups and personal-pita-pizzas, etc., check out Jhony's Luncheonette (yes, that is how it's spelled!) on 25th between 6th and 7th. I plan to submit a review of this place for Flatiron Lunch soon.

baoguette

Fat Sal's Pizza. Hakata Grill or Kool Bloo.
Unless Kwick Meal Starts Delivering -
Negatory on the KoolBloo. Unless you like overpaying for mediocre food(that could have come from a generic deli).

Today is my first day at my new job. Can anyone recommend any good cheap places to eat around 28th and 5th?
THanks,
