I am sure it was mentioned one the website before. I think the deal started over a year ago.

I will also add the Argentinian truck on 26th and 6th sells homemade empanadas--3 for $5. Haven't tried the Havana Central ones, but I do know the Argentinian ones are very good, and considerably large.

The empanadas at Havana Central do taste good but are on the smaller side.

That special has been going on for a long while now, their drinks at the bar are a good deal too.

I'm on a roll with the $1 food today. Just found out that Havana Central is offering $1 empanadas from 4-7 every Tuesday at their Times Square location.
