I had this today. The brioche bread is like the sesame seed bread, but softer (it has more egg in it). I had the angus burger with cheddar, onion jam and applewood smoked bacon. I followed it up with frites with the sundried tomato condiment. It was AWESOME.

I just want to say that I'm glad they didn't jump on the LaFrieda wagon like all these other burger places. Yes, LaFrieda does great ground beef, but what makes each restaurant's burgers stand out if the guy next door is using the same burger blend? I think the best burgers are ground in house (Like DBGB), the wagyu burger is so freakin good! So juicy! I bet these street burgers are 10 times better than Bill's Burgers (had it yesterday and wasn't impressed at all), but probably doesn't compare to In-N-Out. Nothing can top In-N-Out, not even Shake Shack.

Was there today, and let me tell you: these burgers are freaken best. Yes, I've had the in-n-out, and the frites-n-meats burger beats it fair-n-square ;)

The meat was juicy, flavorful, just perfectly cooked - not too big and not small either, excellent portion for lunch served on a bun of choice (I had sesame but will definitely try the potato bun next time) and with your choice of additional toppings... I selected the bacon and the garlicky aoili along with Gruyere cheese. That came with tomato, onion and greens. Perfect. I predict long lines. Also, looks like they do the "stamp the card" thing: get your ten burgers and the 11th one is on them. As per one of the guys at the truck today: "you are getting closer to your freebie!" - cute!
