Joey Pepperoni Is Starting Tacos on Monday
One of our Twitter spies snapped this photo inside Joey Pepperoni’s just yesterday. It looks as if tacos will be on the offering soon. A visit to the $1 Slice-o-Rama victor proved to yield no tacos, though – they will be starting them on Monday the 10th. We’ll bring you the reviews as soon as it’s served up in a soft tortilla for a buck or two.

Dunno what, but the rest of the menu had the basics – chicken, steak, ground beef, chorizo, and then verged into chicken bacon ranch and buffalo chicken tacos. My hopes are not high that their tacos will match their pizza, but for the price, it’s worth a shot.

All of the Joey Pepperoni shops are manned by Mexican nationals, so if anyone knows about tacos, they should.

39th and 6th. I am really curious as to whether these tacos are any good. Makes sense that a pizza place like this would have tacos (since most of the workers are mexicans)

I’m a little skeptical. Even when staffed with many Mexican workers, deli’s and eateries that don’t specialize in tacos (e.g. Korean delis), but offer them, still produce a pretty bad product.

Mardi Gras pizza downtown used to have the best tacos I’ve had in NYC. Unfortunately they are closed now

There are three now I know of. 28th and 2nd. 14th and 2nd and 14th and 1st
and what exactly are authentic NY Style tacos? I saw another pizza place near union sq advertising tacos.
