I have been trying a lot of tortas wherever I can around the city, but I still think that the ones from Tacos y Quesadillas are still the best and the best priced.

i love how i just read this post while scarfing down a torta cubana from Tacos y Quesadillas. For those unaware, for $8, you get: chorizo, roasted pork, ham, lettuce, tomato, guac, jalepenos, cheese, beans, all topped off with a fried egg- all that on a roll.

Their sandwiches always sound wonderful, but ultimately they are just too overpriced for what you get. That pumpkin sandwich is about 80 cents worth of ingredients, and at $7.35, it looks like it would leave me hungry.
