Francois Payard Opens Today w/ Free Macarons
Thanks to Lunch’er Mike for sending along this one… a new Francois Payard Bakery opened in Columbus Circle today (on Broadway btw. 57+58th), and to celebrate they’re giving away a free macaron with every purchase. According to reports on our Downtown site they have all sorts of sandwiches and salads in addition to pastries, but Andrea says to avoid the McRiblike barbecue chicken sandwich. Freeloading French pastry lovers, prepare to engage.

It is next door to Chase across the street from HSBC. I’m not sure what used to be in that location but I believe that it is in the building with Daffys.

(and just in case,
Did this replace (the always sad) AQ Kafe? or is it across the street in the new 3 Columbus Circle building? i.e. the building with the Daffys in it?
