5 Boro Burger Is Now Open
A year after Clay first noticed the sign for a new burger shop on 36th Street and Sixth Avenue, 5 Boro Burger is finally open. It’s a bar/burger joint with a similar red logo to the other five burger companies (Napkin and Guys). I stopped by to check out the scene and it was a bit harried on Friday. There weren’t even enough menus to go around (the restaurant was half full). When I did get my hands on one, I discovered the burgers themselves range from $8-$11. And if you want to get one of the five specialty burgers named after each borough (with toppings that have a vague resemblance to the actual borough), it’ll run you about $15. They also have hot dogs, sandwiches, and bar snacks. I had already eaten, so didn’t get to actually try the food. Has anybody else ventured in yet? Early adopters, let us know in the comments.

Agree the idea of posting is to try the food and drinks not walk in and then leave and form an opinion

They have yet to have their Grand Opening.. They are in fact open, but haven’t gotten permanent menus, take out menus, and they are still working out kinks. They have only been open for a week. Give them a break once they have everything it will be a great lunch spot.. I have also tried the food I think it’s awesome!!

I agree they must have fixes the kinks it comes with the opening of a busy restaurant – bar . The food and drinks are amazing the bar tenders are friendly and the service was great and fast

5 Boro Burger adds a quality look to a very busy and iconic part of NYC. My commplements to the property owner and the management firm Rexton Management Services for the insight and desire to improve and enhance this location.
When the business is in full operation and the owner who by the way, is a seasoned restauranteur has obtained his customers feed back 5 Boro Burger will flourish for many years to come.
On a personal note, if you enjoy a great beer brewed in the USA stop in and enjoy a Shock Top Draft Beer and a Burger.

They Food was amazing i stopped by friday night the bar was packed . You have to try the Trash Can one of 5 Boro’s speciality cocktails its amazing and it has a ton of liquor in it !! I had that and the Bronx Burger . I was very pleased with the food and the service i will be going back next week !!!! the bartenders were friendly and very accommodating . Next Time ill try the Tropical Island the woman sitting next to me was raving about it.

I went this past weekend with some friends to get something quick but the staff was friendly and the food surpassed expectation and ended up staying awhile. The spicy calamari was fantastic, the nachos were not your average and the bk burger was perfect. bonus points for the sweet potato fries. a must visit.
Wait, so you went there, got your hands on a menu, but didn’t get a burger? And still post about it? Weak.
