BLTs Are Back at ‘wichcraft Starting Today
Huge news for fans of bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwiches… today is the first day of the exciting but painfully short BLT season at ‘wichcraft. Their BLTs are made with fresh greenmarket tomatoes (the reason the sandwiches are only available during the summer), heritage bacon, and house-made aioli, and are crazy delicious. They’ll only be available for a few weeks, so get them while you can.

Just had the BLT based on this post. 3 tiny little pieces of bacon you barely notice and half inch slabs of tomatoes. It’s really a tomato sandwich and a total rip off. Fail.

Just had the BLT, and it was delicious…might be a little pricey for a sandwich, but to me it’s good quality food. My sandwich had the perfect amount of each item.

CLS & heyjen, where did you each get yours? I’m a huge BLT lover so I want to make sure I go to the right store (which would clearly be heyjen’s). I tried the one in the Rock today, but they were already sold out (as of 1:30 PM)

FWIW, I would always get my BLTs from the ‘wichcraft on 47th and Lex. It looked much better and a little more generous than the ones coming out of Rock Center.

I tried the Rock Center ‘wichcraft at noon today and they didn’t have them.

Milkman, sorry for my delay — i was at the one on 47th between Park & Lex.
Sounds good, but $10 is a little much considering the soup or side that needs to be added to make this a full meal.
