I went there about a week ago. Waiting in line always sucks and I don’t know even this place is really worth it. They have a very good beer selection and some interesting brews(one of them has curry in it!), but I thought their food was WAAAAY too salty and everything was just EXPENSIVE!! I think it’s cool to go check it out and go there once awhile to drink some cool beer if you have extra cash, but that’s about it.

Maybe this feature should be broken up into “cool places to check out where you could also get some drinks/food” and “cheap HH spots”.

this place is a joke, not sure why every foodie blog has love for it. they serve pitchers of beer in juice carafes, you can’t eat food at the high-top tables in the bar, looks like a pizzeria uno. i usually give places second chances but i’ll never set foot in this place again

Because they brew in-house, I’ll have to drop in and try them out, but I’ll be doing so on a full stomach now, thanks. The beer’s expensive enough without having to drop $40 on two plates of pork.

It has to be said, though, basic brewpub beer should never, ever, ever be that expensive.

Yeah. the prices are ridiculous. and I don’t care how good it is, it can’t be worth those kind of prices.
I even re-read that part where you wrote the price of the sausage to make sure I read it right. $9 or $10 for that I could stomach. But $19? no way.

so sad. i was looking forward to this place so much when i first heard about it a couple years ago. i guess i was naive when i didnt think prices would be ridiculous. $4 per slice of sausage. eesh! combine that with the line to get in = forget it.
