Please. Trump wouldn’t show up at just any old pizza place to have a well-publicized slice. Knowing Trump, I bet he negotiated a handsome fee out of the Famous Familgia chain. Palin and her people were probably clueless about the arrangement. Ohhhh! Looky! Real New York pizza! You betcha!

You guys are all idiots. I guess they should have eaten at somewhere more expensive right? Like Obama drinking $1,600 bottles of wine in England with the Queen, and enjoying expensive meals all while people in Joplin, MO are suffering and a record high 41.8 million people are on food stamps.
-
There’s just no reason to eat at a crappy pizza place in manhattan.

Dave:
Nice non-sequitir. Pizza is a cheap meal everywhere in the city, only some people have the taste to find good pizza for a couple dollars more. People who eat at shit pizzerias deserve derision, especially when they should know better.
Maybe they’re planning to donate the money saved by eating crappy pizza in Midtown?

@ams6986….We’re all idiots, but somehow you have misunderstood the essence of this very simple conversation. Thanks for the larf.

correction – 44.6 million*
And for the record, Famous Famiglia was part of the first episode of the last season of The Apprentice, I’m assuming that’s why Trump picked it.

The place looks empty. I wonder if the Secret Service pushed out all the tourists so Palin / Trump could eat in peace. And how does nature explain Trump’s gene pool creating a perfect woman like his daughter?
-
They should’ve went to Sbarro. It’s authentic NYC pizza!
Way to promote the Famiglia though. Now I want to eat there even less.
And why is Melania sitting so far away from the Donald?

Two of the biggest losers to ever walk the planet are in the same place at one time.
I guess “Rapture” has truly happened. The end is here for all of us. -

go ams6986! It’s a breath of fresh air to have opposing views here. Difference makes life more interesting.
you sound a bit misguided, but I applaud your efforts. As for Trump and Palin, I could give a rats ass where they ate. Eating pizza or caviar, they’re losers with a capital L, so I don’t care. -
The John Stewart reaction is amazing:

I agree with Ams on the level that we still see such careless/extravegant spending from “leaders” (using that term loosely) – but this is not the nature of the post. Trump, who acts like he’s Mr NYC, chooses a mediocre chain to represent a NYC food staple, is just awful. It would be like the mayor of Philly taking someone to Applebees for a cheesesteak.
Jon Stewart’s piece on this last night was awesome. Youtube it.

I agree with Avi about everyone here being an idiot. Other than that he comes off as a complete asshat.
