$10 Kobe Beef Kalbi All Day at Gyu Kaku
Thanks to @winedanddined for sending along this one… to celebrate their 10th Anniversary, Gyu Kaku (on 3rd Ave. and 50th) will be serving $10 portions of U.S. kobe beef kalbi for the ML price of $10 (for 3.5 ounces). It’s probably not enough for a full lunch, but it’s still a good deal (normally it’s $26!) Limit one order per person, while supplies last. They open at 11:30am

I miss their all you can eat specials
I just went to Yakiniku West for their Wednesday night half of Kobe special. That brought the price from something like $12 to $6 per 3oz portion. We were a bunch of guys, but I think we ate something like 25 portions among 8 of us, plus other food. There is no way that 3.5 oz of meat (by itself) is anywhere near a full meal.
