Midtown Happy Hour: Breeze Away the Day w/ $3 Beer Specials
Who doesn’t like an all day happy hour? I walked by Breeze Thai-French Kitchen this week and was intrigued by their drink specials that run all day. From 11AM to 11PM they offer $2 shots, $3 beers and $5 house well drinks at the bar. I love a good deal that I can catch at any time!
Breeze has a open air feel and a clean polished décor. Sadly, the rainy weather didn’t really bring in the crowds and it was mostly empty when I stopped in. Happy hour includes both bottles (Corona, Heineken, Singha, Amstel) and draft beers (Blue Moon, Stella, Brooklyn Ale to name a few) and all are $3. That’s one damn good deal. If you’re in the mood for a shot be forewarned: imagine them like the ones you get at Burger, Shot and Beer: Sweet, pre-mixed and on the weak side. Appealing as this may be to the kiddies celebrating their first fake IDs, this seasoned drinker will pass.
Seeing the happy hour runs all day there’s no reason (outside of getting fired!) for also making it over for a lubricated lunch. The “prix fixe” lunch is $6.95, but according to Brownie make sure you avoid the Pad See Eew.

$3 beers is cool. Way to not overly support liquid lunches.
