  • Is it $6.50 or $9.75?

  • The croque monsieur I had at the Madison Ave location was $9.75, and served more not-cold than warm, definitely nowhere near hot. The bread was soggy on the bottom and really tough on the edges. Almost cold cheese + soggy/tough bread – it was not tasty. Next time, I’ll stick with my regular – the Siciliano.

  • I went by to try the new sandiwches today only to find the Madison location was serving the “old” daily special today. Perhaps I had to ask for something different but I didnt see any sign of the new things.

I’ll go again on monday and hope for the quiche. At least the Siciliano was as good as ever ;-)

  • Tried the Croque-Monsieur today. It was killer. You would think that the single piece of ham wouldn’t be enough, but they use a thick cut bread and the bechamel is so rich. I enjoyed it.

I also had a pumpkin macaron which was EXCELLENT, but still a ripoff at $2.25 for 1.

  • BTW, they don’t charge tax. It’s included in the price.
