The McRib Going National In November?
The internet is abuzz today after a Wall Street Journal article revealed that McDonald’s elusive, and quite possibly magical, McRib sandwich will be available nationwide for the first time in 16 years starting Nov. 2. If anything can get me excited for a trip to McDonald’s, it’s the combination of tangy BBQ sauce, onions, pickles and a nondescript, amorphous protein.

I loved mcdonalds when I was a kid I infact still do crave a big mac or sausage biscuit on those days I am completely hung over… I just never liked this sandwich

I suppose McDonalds has determined that since there has been no large scale public outcry about their use of “pink slime” (an industry term aka Advanced Meat Recovery) in their beef products, the door is open for stepping up production of an even nastier item: swine-based goop poured into rib molds and slathered in bbq sauce. Why use it for fertilizer when you can scrape it off the floor, mix in some ammonia to satisfy the USDA and sell it on your dollar menu? McRib is Soylent Green!
-
Soylent green is people….get it right.
-
Just give McDonalds some time…
-
As long as it’s on the dollar menu.
-
Yeah, this is soylent pink (i.e. pork-related accessory material, I’m guessing), not soylent green.
