That's not how they made mine, I was watching. Falafel in the bottom, tahini, then the veggies, more falafel, more tahini, and finally two more balls resting lightly on top (always a good thing). Maybe they've improved their technique, or I just got a good falafel artist.

I was concerned that it would fall apart so I e-mailed Moses and to my surprise, he replied right away:

>>There's no problem with the falafel, you're holding it wrong. And even if there were, all falafels fall apart if you hold them in a certain way. Our sales figures show that only 6% of people returned their falafels, which is much better than last quarter. So there's no Falafelgate. If you don't like our product, don't buy it. Jerk.

My biggest problem with Moshe's (as Brownie alluded to in her post) is their layering. They put two falafel balls at the bottom, cover it in lettuce in tomato, put on falafel ball on top and cover the whole thing in tahini.

First three bites, all tahini and falafel. Next 3 bites all salad, nothing else. Final 5 bites, all falafel. They need to go take lessons from the owner of Azuri Cafe.

Plus the balls are giant, so sometimes they can be dry. [||]
