tried hello pasta today.
had the whole wheat fusilli with the Chicken Tuscan sauce. it was pretty good!
i’ll definitely be back again.

And having joined in with the “how could you buy pasta from one of these places?” crowd, I’m about to violate all the rules of ML by going to the Pax downstairs and getting something from the make-your-own-pasta section, because my coworker had some yesterday and it looked hawesome.

unfortunately, it isn’t. they’ve set up shop where you can add whatever nasty toppings to a bowl of cereal you want, all for about $5+.

well that’s the problem – it doesn’t sound like Hello Pasta CAN beat some leftover homemade pasta from home. Just throw some cheese or meat on top of that shiz before you come into work! this is the easiest lunch you can make, just do it the night before

No. Although re-heated pasta can certainly be tasty, it is qualitatively different from freshly boiled pasta. And while I myself enjoy sauce out of jars, I should *hope* that these places can beat the quality of sauce out of a jar. For example, jar sauce cannot (or at least should not) have fresh vegetables, herbs, cheese, meats, etc.

Glad to see someone offering green olives as a topping. I’ve long believed that green olives are also the #1 pizza topping, but its tough to find places in NYC that offer them as an option.
